Powers v. Georgia

Appellant Fabian Powers was convicted of felony murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony in connection with the shooting death of Alfred Boyd. Appellant argued on appeal to the Supreme Court that the trial court erred in denying his request for a jury instruction on justification based on self-defense or defense of others.
